Affordable Senior Housing | Affordable Senior Housing | HUD 202 Program that offers rental assistance for seniors who meet the requirements of the federal program. |
Assisted Living | Assisted Living | Assisted Living offers a residential arrangement, for a fee, for dependent elderly and adults with disabilities. ASL provides assistance with activities of daily living and other services that promote seniors’ quality of life. |
Home Health Agencies | Home Care | Home Health Agencies provide services that help seniors’ function as independently as possible in their own homes. Home Health Care involves medically-oriented care, ranging from dressing changes by a trained, supervised aide, to physical therapy, education and self-care provided by a licensed professional. |
Hospice | Hospice | A coordinated program of home, outpatient, and inpatient care and services to hospice patients, and families, through a medically directed interdisciplinary team in order to meet the physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and other special needs that are experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement |
Nursing Homes | Nursing | A business entity that is engaged in providing housing, meals and care to sick or disabled individuals who require, on a daily basis or more frequently, medical care, nursing care, or rehabilitation services. |
Personal Assistance Services Agencies | Home Care | Personal Assistance Services means the provision of services for compensation that do not require the judgment and skills of a licensed nurse or other professional. The services are limited to individual assistance with/or supervision of activities of daily living, companion services, transportation services, homemaker services, reporting changes in consumer’s condition and completing reports. These services do not require physician’s orders. |
