Brookdale Northridge
Brookdale’s Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) are designed for those who choose to pursue their lifelong dreams in an engaging social environment. These retirement communities operate as either rental or LifeCare models. A rental CCRC operates on a monthly rental fee basis, while LifeCare by Brookdale CCRCs require an entry fee in return for guaranteed health care. As a result, prospective residents may choose the financial model that is most conducive to their retirement wishes.
Brookdale’s Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) In a Brookdale Continuing Care Retirement Community, you will find multiple lifestyle and care options to ensure we fulfill your vision for all the places you’d still like your life to go. In Brookdale CCRCs you will find multiple lifestyle and care options such as independent living, assisted living and memory care. Each of our continuing care campuses also includes a licensed rehabilitation and skilled nursing care center for short-term recovery after a hospital stay, or when extended convalescence is needed. This combination of services and living arrangements enables residents to age in place.
All Continuing-Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) include at least three levels of care in one location:
- Independent living, where residents live on their own and have access to a wide array of amenities.
- Assisted Living, which provides help with the activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing and eating.
- Round-the-clock nursing home care.
- Some CCRCs, also offer home healthcare services.
As a resident’s health needs increase, they may transition from one level to the next, all within the same community. This provides a permanent link to friends and families for them by assuring they remain in a single location.
